The month of May was a busy time for the Frank Bruno management office. Every day there seemed to be many requests for Frank to appear somewhere in the world. We have explained and reconfirmed Frank has a few charities that he works for which he gives his time to for nothing. Sadly he cannot accommodate each and every one of these requests although a lot of them certainly touch our hearts. We just wish we had 5 or 6 Frank Bruno’s instead of just one. The requests for signed memorabilia which are coming in their hundreds every week Frank has now signed a number of items for nothing for bona fide fund raisers however the cost of the item, the wages for the person who pack items, goes up to the post office stands up to 30 minutes, pays for the car park, packing materials, cost of postage all needs to be paid for. The Frank Bruno management office is a business we cannot work for nothing for the thousands of requests we get every month. We have 2 staff that are paid to just deal with charity and fund raising requests. Genuine fund raisers and “nice fans” seem to understand this and realise for the small amount they pay us they can earn a good profit on top of this amount however some of the others? |
