Evening so busy. Been to the dentist today and it hurt!! We are getting ready for the launch of the book more news next week. Laura Akram popped into my foundation centre what a story she has in two years had over 40 bouts, won national/international titles, England/Pakistan/Algerian Elite Champion. Represented England/Pakistan medalled at world-level. Turned pro in Nov 2025, Laura is 6–0, with 4 TKOs, current WBC Asia & OPBF/WBC Champion in two weight divisions & guess what when she is not boxing she is a nurse! Afternoon 2 great shows Warrington and for Wakefield Hospice the last couple of nights thanks to those who turned up. So its Mental Health day originally this day was to create awareness. We no longer need to create awareness but the problem the UK has no one who has the authority and the purse strings is doing anything of consequence about it. An example my centre in Northampton could help another 50 desperate people a week that need serious help now. Schools, former military personnel, families and carers for people cannot get proper help all over the UK. My office gets many letters every week. Now Northampton is 1 town in approx 1000 in the UK and there is 76 cites so times the demand we get 1100 times. Suicides due to Mental Health will continue to rise. Mental Health issues are not being addressed loads of talk and promises but no action when will our MP’s wake up and actually do anything about it?
