Afternoon so I am not asking for donations But I do want you to sign a petition. Please meet Ellie James, who founded the campaign for Owain's Law. Ellie's husband Owain was 36 when he died from glioblastoma. While he was still fighting, they found out that the tissue from his brain surgery had not been stored correctly, which meant continuing his personalised treatment options were gone. Nobody had told them this was happening. Nobody asked. It is standard NHS practice (allegedly!) and it is happening to brain tumour patients every day. A simple change to the law and for a tiny cost to the NHS, all brain tumour patients could keep their options open, improve research for others, and have a right to hope! Owain's Law is asking the Government give patients Consent, Control and Choice on how their brain tumour tissue is stored and used.
